What it Does for You ...
Overview Automatically generates, tests, and repairs wheeling systems.

Provides methods for importing, exporting, viewing, editing, joining, modifying, and printing wheeling systems. Handles wheels for Pick-2 through Pick-9 Lotto games.

All wheels generated in Professional Wheeling are compatible with the Lottery Director Lotto and Print Play Slips programs, and may be exported to other programs.

Generating Wheels Standard Wheels: You can generate a simple, standard wheel for any prize specification, up to 64 numbers in 5,000 combinations.
'Zone' Wheels: You can generate a wheel containing three number 'Zones'. Each Zone combines its numbers in a specific way, and produces a specific prize if the winning numbers are matched. The wheel can contain up to 64 numbers in 5,000 combinations.
Large Wheels: You can generate a large wheel with up to 64 numbers using filtering. For example, you can use a 'Full 6/49' wheel (containing 13,983,816 combinations) and reduce its size through filters. The final wheel can contain up to 500,000 combinations.

Wheel Generating Filters are provided for:

  • Sums Range
  • Even/Odd Numbers
  • Low/High Numbers
  • Final Digits
  • Consecutives
  • Roots Range
  • Spreads Range
  • Decades
  • Include Numbers (three ranges)
  • Exclude Numbers
Additional Filters: In addition, all of the standard Lottery Director Lotto filters (14 more filters) apply each time the wheel is played. This ensures you can adapt the wheel to your current budget and your game's status -- e.g., Repeat numbers, Positional Limits, Movement, and other filters. (There is no need to re-generate the wheel each time you want to play it.) See your Lotto program specifications for a list of additional filters.
Testing Wheels Automatic Testing: You select a wheel and a prize guarantee. The program tests the wheel for all combinations needed to produce that prize.
Amount of Testing: An entire wheel can be tested. Or, any portion can be tested separately -- for example, for editing the wheel to improve its prize guarantee.
Prize Reporting: The program reports the amounts of prizes the wheel will produce (at the Jackpot and lower prize levels).
Defect Reporting: The program detects combinations that are missing in the wheel (called 'Holes'). It provides options for repair -- see below.
Repairing Wheels Automatic Repair: If 'Holes' are found in a wheel during testing, the program offers options for repairing the wheel. Options include fully Automatic Repair of the wheel during testing.
How Automatic Repair Works: When Automatic Repair is selected, the program seeks and fills Holes automatically. There is no requirement for manual intervention. Holes are analyzed and grouped for the most economical repair to the wheel. The result is a wheel that meets its prize guarantee completely.
Manual Repair: The program also allows manual repair of wheels through its built-in Wheel Editor, or with any standard word processor or notepad program.
Import/Export Functions Options: Wheels can be imported from other sources. They can be played in the Lottery Director Lotto program, or can be customized and tested using any of the functions in Professional Wheeling. Wheels can be exported from Lottery Director to a standard format for use in other programs.
Formats Supported: The program supports standard 'Text' files (also called 'ASCII' Text files). It imports and exports files in either Numeric or Alphabetic format.
Numeric Examples: Supported formats are:  1 2 3 4 5 6,  or  1,2,3,4,5,6,  or  1-2-3-4-5-6,  or  01-02-03-04-05-06.
Alphabetic Example: The supported format is:  ABCDEF.
Wheel Management Functions Conversion: Wheels can be converted from one format to another in up to 500,000 combinations.
Editing: The built-in Wheel Editor supports edit, cut, copy, paste, and print of wheel files. 'Backup' copies are made automatically during editing.
Joining: Two or more wheels can be joined (combined) into a single wheel file:
  • The program automatically eliminates duplicate combinations.
  • This allows making custom 'zone' or 'segmented' wheels with multiple prize guarantees.
  • It also provides convenience for frequently-played wheels: a single wheeled set, with easier filtering and play slip printing.
Key Numbers: Key Numbers can be automatically removed from or added to wheels.
Copy/Rename/Delete/Restore: Wheels can be copied, renamed, or deleted. Wheel 'Backup' copies can be restored to their original wheel file.
Notes and Parameters: Your wheel collection can be cataloged, listed, and viewed with a single mouse click. For example, you can identify wheels that you are testing, to keep track of their current status.
Help Help Screens: Every function is explained on Help screens.
