LD Software Retirement

New orders for Lottery Director software registrations ended on January 1, 2012.

This Web site will remain open until July 1, 2013.  It will close on that date.

Simply because:  it is time to retire.

The first registered package of Lottery Director software was delivered to our first player on December 1, 1991.

That was 20 years ago.

Before that, more than six years went into development and testing, with many thousands of hours.  After four major updates, and a "million lines of code", today it is the world's most comprehensive and complete lottery software.

No other lottery software provides such a full array of tools for players.  Many of these tools have been suggested by dedicated and successful players, and we are grateful to them.

We have also taken the "high road" in describing the software -- no inflated claims that could mislead players, but always accurate and complete information:  how your game works, how the software works, and how to use it.

Its Free Trial program has always had no time limit.  Players have been able to enjoy the software, and to be confident in ordering their registrations.

Now  --  after 20 years  --  it is time to retire.

We do so reluctantly  --  but time sets its own schedule for every person.

And we do so in deepest gratitude to all our dedicated LD players over the years.

Q.  Will new software registrations be available after 01-01-2012?

A.  No.  New software registration orders ended as of 01-01-2012.

Q.  Will I receive technical support?

A.  We plan to continue technical support on this Web site until July 1, 2013 -- your message board, e-mail, and players bulletins.

After July 1, 2013 we will monitor players' Web forums such as Lottery Post, Lotto Tutor and others, and will provide technical support there as requested.

Q.  What about Game History downloads?

A.  The automatic Game History downloads will no longer be available on this web site after 01-31-2012.

Registered LD Players:  If you are a Registered LD player, you can update your games as usual at your own PC using your keyboard and mouse.  Typically it takes only a few seconds to enter each drawing's numbers.

You can always use your game's official web site, where you can find the latest game results.

You can also contact other players to discuss sharing history files for games in your area.

Software and Web Site developers are reminded that the Lottery Director name, software, and web site materials continue to be protected by registered trademarks and copyrights in the United States and internationally.

Any use for commercial purposes not specifically authorized by us will be pursued as infringement with compensatory damages.
