How it Works:

This wheel plays 26 numbers in 35 filtered combinations. The wheel provides a 5-number win if you match any 5 of the 26 numbers exactly as they are filtered.

It covers every number in 5/26 games. In addition to its standard filtering, it provides additional filtering based on the histories of the Florida and Louisiana 5/26 games. If you feel that a 4-number or 5-number combination, once drawn, is not likely to be drawn again soon, you can consider this wheel for any Pick-5 game.

No combination contains more than 3 numbers which have already been drawn together in these draws of either game, as of 15 November 1997. That is a substantial history of combinations, as follows:

Florida 5/26: 1000 draws.

Louisiana 5/26: 400 draws.

The 5 winning numbers must match all of these filters:

Sum: 67 or 68.
Even/Odd: 2/3 or 3/2.
Low/High: 2/3 or 3/2.
Matching Final Digits: None.
Consecutive Numbers: None.
Decades: Any 1 or 2 numbers from each Decade 1-9, 10-19, and 20-26.
Game Histories: No more than 3 numbers that have already been drawn together in the selected draws of the Florida and Louisiana 5/26 games. (See above.)

This results in a 99.95% reduction in the combinations for a 5/26 game.
